The threads inside the handle itself do not fit the connecting crank shaft body. I will send this one back and get another.

I purchased one of these several months ago, but just recently had the chance to actually use it. Yes, it works and I can get the cases trimmed. I guess what I fail to grasp is why this device is made with a set screw as opposed to threads. The whole point in even using a trimmer (Lathe)is to eliminate the lack of centering from a case, and yet I am here using this thing that wobbles horribly. Sinclair used to make one (unless I'm mistaken) with threads, which was probably "more inline" with the center of spin. It is also frustrating to already own a power adapter for the standard cutter, of which I cannot use on the carbide cutter due to the change in threads.

Thanks Sinclair, I still think you guys have great products, but maybe this one needs some re-engineering.

Wobbles horribly (10.1.2015)

I also have an astonishing amount of wobble when I use it. I assumed my drill itself was creating the wobble - but when I switched to the smaller 'threaded' power adapter it all went away. I'm inclined to agree with "W's" comments from Kentucky about the set-screw design actually forcing it to sit off center...

The power adapter that works best for me with the standard trimmer is:

I have had one of these for three or four years and it has been a fine product. I use mine with a cheap B&D power driver and notice no wobble and I doubt the carbide cutter will dull in my life time
