Not up to the expectation (30.8.2020)

First, the sight is not steel but soft alloy so be prepared to marr the finish during installation. Second, the sight picture is difficult. Not only appear the rear dots much bigger and shining due to being closer to the eye stealing the focus from the first sight, the front sight is circular and needs to be aimed dot-between-dots, not upper edge to upper edge. All in all, I was dismayed to shoot twice the group size of my .22 pistol with this rifle at 25 meters (yards) now. I hope I will find the original sights to put them back.

Wish I bought this long ago (11.2.2011)

This took only a few minutes to install.
Once on, the result was amazing.
The red on the front sight acts almost like an aimpoint in sunlight. Shoot with both eyes open.
Great product.
I wish they made one in stainless.

Aluminum: Warning DO NOT hit with a METAL hammer! Carefully file the rear sight bottom, wings and even dovetail until installs with tap with rubber hammer. Front sight screws in, takes less than one minute. The sight picture is good. Easily adjustable with jewelers screwdriver. Use locktite.
The gunsmith wanted $35 to install it, you can do it in less than 30 minutes by yourself.

Brought New Life To My Old Marlin 60 (27.4.2012)

Needed sights for my old marlin 60 and these were perfect. Found original sights brand new on other websites in individual pieces for not much less.

an improvment over the stock marlin xt22 (3.11.2012)

Fits the Marlin XT-22. The screw that comes with the front bead sight needs to be filed down by a couple of mm as it slightly too long to screw the sight down. The rear sight needs to be tapped lightly so it is more flush with the barrel so you're not shooting to high. One thing that happened to me is that the front bead broke in two places after I accidently knocked the barrel against the underside of a wooden table. I wish Williams would have a protective hood to help prevent this, for this model.

I received these sights yesterday,installed them last night(5 min.),went to the range today.I shot about 1 inch at 40 yards consistently.Wish I knew about these a few years ago. I highly recommend them,Great item.

A Sight For SOre Eyes (26.4.2014)

First off, Brownell's had my order to me in just 3 days. Once I had the sights it took just about 20 minutes to install both the front & rear. The front screws on with no problem. The rear took just a little longer-had to lightly file the bottom to get a slide in fit. Talk about a fantastic improvement for my 60 year old eyes. The fiber optics are just what was needed. I can aim without effort. Thanks Brownell's & Williams.

Excellent Upgrade (17.10.2014)

I have had this product for about 6 months and they replaced the factory sights on a brand new Model 60 I purchased. As you know the factory sights leave much to be desired. I was able to easily drift them out, from right to left, with a brass punch and minimal effort. The are extremely easy to pick up while shooting reactive targets or in hunting application where quick target acquisition is needed. I am purchasing two more Model 60's and these sights will go on each of them.

Decent, but large dot size (8.9.2018)

These are well made and very bright. When I first saw them, because of the finsh sheen, thought the fiber optics where mounted in plastic but they are all metal and seam very sturdy.

My biggest issue is the diameter of the fiber, too large. Front sight will eclipses a 2L bottle or even an entire 10â target at 35yards - worse further out.

Nice, but poor fit (on my gun) (4.10.2018)

Was really looking forward to getting these sights for my Marlin 60. The excitement quickly changed to total frustration when trying to install the rear sight. I found out that the dovetail base was at least 1-2mm wider than the dovetail groove on my rifle. Consequently I spent an hour with a tiny file slowly working away at it until I finally got it to fit. The endless filing also meant that the sight base was pretty messed up by the time I got it installed. Canât really see the marks, now itâs seated, but itâs annoying all the same. Havenât shot the rifle yet so I canât say how the sights work. Theyâre definitely better than the stock sight but the installation frustration took the fun out of it.
