Great quality at a reasonable price! (31.3.2017)

Great finish and fit. Not covered in sloppy grease but lightly coated in preservative. Everything fit great! The front pivot pin fit very snugly and took out all the upper/lower slop in two sets I tried it in. I've spent money on National Match and oversized pins and this one worked just as well. I'll buy again for sure.

Kit seemed fine looking it over initially. Once installed the safety selector switch does not smoothly rotate from safe to fire. It feels gritty and takes more force than it should. My other issue is the take down pins. Same issue, they do not smoothly push out and take more force than normal. It's like the detent is binding on the surface of the selector and take down pins. The rest of the kit is fine and I'll make do with the take down pins. The safety selector, I will have to replace for something else. It just feels terrible.

Used in a build for a friend. I didn't notice any problems. It went into an Anderson lower and I did not use the trigger springs.

Will buy another for future builds

Kind of an odd LPK... (2.9.2017)

A few non-standard parts here- for one, the takedown detents are black (not gold) and asymmetrical in shape. The blunt end needs to face the pin, because the pointy end will lock your pin. FCG pins are .155 or greater, and would not pass through a Noveske lower (NBD, I have a pile of standard pins on my bench). Selector detent, also too pointy to interface with the selector (or recess too deep?) maybe they will break in as they grind, but I junked those too. Lastly, the BHO roll pin is a spiral vs. a C (again, no biggie, just strange). I would avoid this product.

Get what you pay for (12.12.2017)

I bought a few of these. They are nothing special and priced accordingly. I had a bad mag dis connector and they quickly sent me a replacement, kit comes with a very plastic dis connect button. A nice cheap way to finish off your project and get it through the paces, then swap out for better parts later if you see need to. They will probably stay in a while and work fine.

Poor quality overall (31.12.2017)

Same issues as the other reviewers - should've known better than to buy this.

The detents for the takedown grab the takedown pins far more than they should. Took a file to them to round them off a bit to alleviate this.

The safety included had a horrible feel to it - very gritty and more resistance than should be present. Swapped it for another safety lever that I had and the problem went away .

Also worth noting, this kit does not include a grip screw. The picture accurately depicts that, I just overlooked it and could see others overlooking the same. Luckily I had a few extra on hand.

For the money...this kit can't be beat! (19.1.2018)

I have purchased and used these kits in the past and recently purchased two more. After reading the reviews, I thought I would give my findings. Maybe because I am a gunsmith and an experienced builder, I have not had a single problem! I will be purchasing more.

Would not recommend to anyone. Parts were chiseled to dimensions. Poor quality.

Good cheap kit, finish is awful, obvious porosity in casting surfaces. Safety is super gritty and take down pins are super tight.
